every year we try to find unique & interesting...
...plants to grow and sell, many chosen specifically for attracting bees and other pollinators, some for their medicinal properties, many for their longevity, beauty or uniqueness. Our sandy soil and abundant sunlight encourages us to grow low maintenance/low water plants.
Among the selection are native plants, culinary herbs, medicinal herbs, garden perennials and ornamental grasses.
We source our plants from many places:
~ divisions from plants in our garden (and other gardeners')
~ bare root plants or plugs purchased
~ and plants purchased or traded locally.
~ plants we have grown from seed - either collected or purchased:
we do not buy ANYTHING from companies that sell seed
owned by Seminis/Monsanto or Syngenta or any other
company that supports, sells or develops GMO/GE.
Bee Glade Nursery believes in educating customers in regards to invasive plants, and we carefully select plants that should not be a danger to wild areas. If we seem unaware of something, please let us know- it is all about sharing information! :)
