& Saturday June 6 8am to 8pm
Hours:
Friday 2pm to 8pm
Saturday 8am to 8pm
Covid 19 measures in place:
- Hand sanitizer available
- The plant sale will be spread out in various parts of the garden so there won't be such a need to congregate around one area
- Plants will be well marked with price and variety, so that folks won't need to get real close to one another (hopefully)
- PLEASE wear a mask if you have one.
- The sale hours are specifically long so that folks will not feel it necessary to come right at opening and there is lots of different times to come see us
- We can accept credit cards and we have tap availability, although we will still accept cash
- Please keep in mind: lots of folks are immune compromised, but you cannot tell by looking - so let's just assume we want to keep everyone safe, including our children and grandchildren. ♥
Plant sale info:
Here at Bee Glade, we are thinking of doing things a little differently. Instead of attending markets (which were all cancelled this year, including the September Garlic Fest), we might have an annual spring sale and sell divisions from my garden, we shall see.
I also want to make some more space in the garden, so for now, we are going to sell the plants that are in pots. They will be in price points around the garden and you will have to walk to see them. :)
I also want to make some more space in the garden, so for now, we are going to sell the plants that are in pots. They will be in price points around the garden and you will have to walk to see them. :)
- Almost all plants will be priced between $2 and $5
- Plants are all perennials, ornamental grasses, and a few shrubs, including willows
- Concrete garden plaques are for sale at full price, ranging from $8 to $25.
- They will be marked with coloured dots for pricing and all price points will be in one area.
- There will be small 'sold' signs available at each station. I was thinking that if folks picked out some plants at the bottom of the garden and didn't want to carry them around with them, they could leave them in the area and just put a 'sold' on them to collect altogether later.
- There are a few plants that were purchased new at from Bron and Sons, they will be full price. Creeping thyme, Echinacea, Rudbeckia.
- The plants may have weeds in them, clean them up before you plant them. I don't have anything noxious on the property though.
- Plants will be clearly labeled with type and variety, some of them I have had for some time, so the tag may be vague but there shouldn't be many of those.
- Please remember to keep things safe!
