CONCRETE BIRD BATH

Currently, we have no birdbaths available.  They are available to be ordered only in the warmer Spring & Summer months, and take approximately three weeks from order to delivery.  Thank you!

Concrete Bird Bath:
Comes apart in 3 separate pieces.

We have 2 styles of bird baths- one has a large round top, the other has an Branch/Leaf motif on it. Both the pedestals are the same.  We can do variations on the tops and also with the height of the pedestal. In these pictures, the round part at the bottom (with embedded rocks) has been added for better stability: it can be put into the ground to provide a better base. The concrete top and pedestal is reinforced with metal and/or rebar.

Sometimes at market we are asked if we actually make the molds, no, the majority of molds we use are purchased from various companies - one of them being Catherine Failor Design.  Her molds are marked with a (CF) in the photo gallery.  All her designs are amazing and lovely. All the molds have been made in the USA.

Brian has been making some small molds: Hedgehog, Owl, basket of flowers. These he has adapted from small ceramic or resin plaques that we have found in our travels at thrift stores and from friends.
The concrete pieces are perfectly fine outside, even in cold winters and rainy springs. The Terracotta Goddess has been on our fence for at least three years now.  And she will be there for many more...

where you can find us:

BEE GLADE FARM is located at 2152 Glade Road, Glade, British Columbia, Canada:
You access this small rural community via a free on-demand ferry. It takes about 10 cars at a time and lasts about four minutes from one shore to the other. Currently, there are new ferry ramps being installed to service the expected new ferry, so there might be construction activity there, but rarely are there delays.

How do you get to the ferry?
Halfway between Castlegar & Nelson on Highway 3a at the Glade Esso Gas/ General Store, take Glade Ferry Rd down. Follow this road over the tracks and cross the Kootenay River on the ferry.  After the ride, take the first left onto Glade Road. We are the third on the right. Pull in the driveway- there is lots of room :)
Please, if you have doggies, leave them in the car.
Unless it is hot, then we will find shade and water for them.

PHOTO ARCHIVE

These are all pictures that have been on the website previously. Because I take lots of pictures and I want to update my website, I also change my photos.  But since I don't want to delete them, I will store them all on this page for people to view. They are not necessarily in any order. :)  Enjoy!

This is an art photo taken during the Garden Tour: it is a native drone fly (Syrphidae spp.) on a miniature rose 'Roller Coaster'.
